MANCHESTER — On Valentine’s Day, the staff and residents of Arbors of Hop Brook Retirement Community graciously hosted a “Love our First Responders” breakfast demonstrating their appreciation and respect for The Ambulance Service of Manchester, Manchester Police Department, and Manchester Fire Department. Mayor Jay Moran returned to this annual event as well while agency members took a to moment relax with staff and residents. In addition, The Arbors staff presented Phyllis DiGioia Honor Wellness with a check for their continued work providing First Responders with counseling services.

ASM & Aetna Attend Yard Goats First Responder’s Game
HARTFORD- On Monday August 28th, 2019, employees from the Ambulance Service of Manchester and Aetna Ambulance enjoyed a night of baseball honoring “First Responder’s”. A Post Size American Flag was brought out on the field as part of the Pre-Game festivities and served as a visual expression of support, during the playing of our National Anthem. The Yard Goats pulled off an impressive win over the Harrisburg Senators (5–1).
ASM and Aetna Attend 4th of July Game
The New Britain Bee’s celebrated the Fourth of July by honoring First Responders Thursday night. The Bee’s provided ASM and Aetna with 50 free tickets to the 6:35pm game against the Somerset Patriots. Fans enjoyed food and Fireworks, as the two teams battled to a 0 – 0 tie.

MANCHESTER- On Tuesday January 22nd, 2019 “First Baptist Church” located on Hillstown Road hosted their 2nd Annual “First Responders Drive in Chili Lunch.” ASM crews were able to take a few minutes to enjoy a hot meal and recognition from the event volunteers.

Members of each agency were invited to the facility for breakfast sandwiches, candies and a chance to socialize with thankful residents.
